Centriflow engineers provide a punctual high quality service to clients, who have been impressed with the service and have recommended the company to others. In this way we have grown steadily from strength to strength ensuring quality has not been compromised and we have the knowledge that the clients will come back to us time and time again.

The majority of the projects that the company undertakes are independent commissioning, project management, consultancy, planned preventative maintenance and revalidation. This work is mainly carried out within Hospitals, The Pharmaceutical Industry, Universities and large office blocks.

When our attendance is required we will discus the sites requirements and then provide the appropriate number of experienced and fully trained staff to carry out the checks within the required timescale. We always aim to complete the work within the allotted timescale and wherever possible leave the site with all systems functioning to the client’s specification.

• Site Surveys on heating and ventilation plants, this is typically carried out when the site is experiencing specific problems but are unsure what needs to be undertaken to remedy them.
• Management of commissioning personnel, typically we complete all the work in-house however on very large installations we will act as senior engineer and organize the trades and site commissioning engineers.
• Commissioning of new heating and ventilation systems i.e. standard air and water balancing following procedures such as BISRA A and BISRA W and CIBSE A and CIBSE W.
• Ventilation system maintenance, these can vary from very simple fan filter units to full air handling units and complex systems. We can carry out the maintenance ourselves or carry out checks following internal maintenance.
• We record sound levels in and around suites and environments. Too high a noise level can be distracting, cause health and safety issues or can simple be a nuisance. Extreme or prolonged exposure can lead to health issues and insurance claims.
• Ductwork pressure testing to ensure the ductwork has been satisfactorily manufactured and assembled and is not leaking.
• Safety cabinet and laminar flow commissioning/ servicing to BS EN 12469 including containment testing (KI discus) if requested. These types of units can range from simple H/LAF (Horizontal Laminar Flows) to Class 1 and Class 2 safety cabinets and whole suite isolators.
• Fume extract cupboard commissioning/ servicing to BS7258. These types of units can vary from small 1m standard fume extract cupboards to full wall walk-in systems and hazard containment cupboards.
• We have a fully trained and experienced Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Manual production team. Our team aims to take the hassle away from your contracts / project manager and allows them to concentrate on the installation program. This relieves them of this substantial distraction and improves their input on the installation and improves the quality of the finished document. The Manuals are produced in White PVC binders, as required by BSRIA. A comprehensive and helpful O&M manual improves the clients satisfaction of the project and increases the potential of future sales.
• We have an extensive selection of high quality report forms to detail our testing on and can develop site-specific forms if requested. We type our reports and can issue them in electronic format if requested.
• Calibration certificates are issued for instruments used to carry out our testing with our validation test report.
